TS-8551-overview

The TS-8551 is multi-purpose TS-SOCKET baseboard that can be used as a proof-of-concept, development, design reference, or even a ship-able device. The TS-8551 is powered by the TS-4100 or TS-4400 System-on-Module (SoM) devices. The TS-8551 breaks out every single TS-SOCKET pin for prototyping or application development purposes while also implementing a number of commonly used interfaces such as CAN, RS-485, RS-232, USB host and OTG, Ethernet, RTC, SPI Flash, and TS-SILO Supercapacitors as a built-in UPS.

We encourage customers to use the TS-8551 as a starting off point for creating a customized baseboard for to specifically meet their application needs. Please review the TS-8551 schematic as well as the Designing a Custom Baseboard section for guidelines, needed basics, and reference materials.
